When should I book my maternity session? The ideal time for maternity portraits is between 28 and 34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round and you are still feeling comfortable. I recommend reaching out in your second trimester to reserve your date. When should I book birth photography? As soon as you know you want me there. I take a limited number of births each month so I can be fully present for each family, and my calendar often fills months in advance. Where do sessions take place? Maternity and family sessions can take place in my cozy studio setting, in the comfort of your home, or at a beautiful outdoor location around Austin and Central Texas. Birth sessions take place wherever you birth, at home, a birth center, or hospital. What areas do you serve? I am based in Round Rock and serve Austin and Central Texas, and I travel up to 2 hours for sessions and births. What is included in a session? Every session includes a pre-session consultation, my full artistry and guidance during our time together, professional editing of your images, and an online gallery. Heirloom prints, albums, and wall art are available to complete your story.
Do you photograph births at home, in a hospital, and at a birth center? Yes. Across more than 135 births, I have photographed families at home, in hospitals, and at birth centers, and I join your birth team quietly and respectfully, documenting your story as it unfolds without getting in the way.
What is a Fresh 48 session? A Fresh 48 session takes place in the first two days after your baby arrives. It is a short, gentle session that preserves those tiny details and first meetings, the little fingers and toes, and the first time siblings and grandparents hold your baby, before those first hours fade.
What products can I order? You can order leather heirloom albums, grandparent albums, torn edge fine art prints, and The Reveal Box. Your albums are designed to join together as The Motherhood Library, one heirloom album for every session, so your whole story sits together on one shelf.
Are partners and children welcome in sessions? Yes, always. Partners and children are a beautiful part of your story, and they are welcome in maternity, newborn, family, and milestone sessions. We will make space for them, guide them gently, and capture the connection between you.
How do I book? Simply inquire through the contact page and we will begin with a consultation, talking through your story, your style, and the portraits you are dreaming of. From there we will reserve your date. Birth dates are limited each month so every family has my full on call commitment.
